Indigenous Innovation

Corvo was founded with a simple but powerful idea: Indigenous communities should be active builders of their own spaces.
Created through a collaboration between Kitspace and Indigenous partners, Corvo An Indigenous Interiors Company represents a new model for self-performance and distributed manufacturing. By combining Kitspace’s digital design-for-manufacture systems with regional First Nation production hubs, Corvo enables locally made kitchen, bath, and millwork solutions for every market segment from social housing and long-term care to high-end multi-family developments.

Each Corvo system is designed to be repeatable, teachable, and economically regenerative. Standardized cabinet modules can be produced in smaller facilities using accessible tooling, creating skilled employment and enterprise opportunities close to home. The approach allows communities to participate directly in the housing supply chain while expressing cultural identity through design.

The initiative reflects Kitspace’s ongoing commitment to building new pathways for inclusion in the construction industry linking technology, craft, and culture to produce interiors that are not only well-made, but meaningful.
