In Port Moody’s growing urban core, Hue challenged conventional thinking about how compact homes can live larger. Developed by Marcon and delivered in partnership with Kitspace, the project transformed a set of narrow, elongated one-bedroom units into some of the fastest-selling homes in the development — all through the power of programmable design.

Kitspace introduced a modular interior system that allowed buyers to configure their homes to fit their lifestyles. Expandable dining areas, built-in workspaces, and transformable cabinetry created living environments that flex between functions without increasing footprint. The system offered true choice and personalization while maintaining consistency and efficiency in manufacturing.

Beyond design, Kitspace led the manufacturing and delivery of all interior components across the 232 homes. Precision-prefabricated elements were kitted off-site, shipped in sequence, and installed quickly and accurately — a process that reduced waste, simplified coordination, and ensured exceptional finish quality.

The result is a model of how industrialized interior design can enhance livability, elevate buyer experience, and streamline delivery. For Marcon, the success of Hue’s interior system has set a new benchmark — proving that flexibility, efficiency, and design excellence can coexist beautifully in multifamily housing.
