In the fast-growing Helotes Park area of San Antonio, Metropolitan Developments set out to create a residential community that would stand apart through intelligent design and livability. Kitspace was brought on board to shape that vision — developing a design strategy and interior systems that balanced style, flexibility, and function.
Working alongside Pappageorge Haymes Partners and Derive Developments, Kitspace reimagined the unit mix and layouts, optimizing light, flow, and space efficiency across 135 condominiums. Each kitchen, bathroom, and storage system was designed for high performance in compact footprints, using modular components that ensure consistent quality and cost control.
Kitspace’s approach centered on real user needs. Young professionals gained flexible living and work zones; downsizers found comfort and storage; families benefited from adaptable rooms designed to evolve over time. By coordinating across design, marketing, and production, Kitspace enabled Metropolitan to fast-track permitting and pre-sales while maintaining cost certainty and design integrity.
To support the sales process, Kitspace also designed and manufactured a custom presentation center, allowing buyers to experience the project’s craftsmanship firsthand.
The result is a development that feels cohesive, practical, and aspirational — a testament to Kitspace’s ability to merge modular design precision with human-centered experience. The Gabriel now serves as a model for future projects in Metropolitan’s growing portfolio.
