Belle Isle

Nestled beside the Capilano River and the future Lions Gate Village Centre, Belle Isle delivers a rare balance of nature, urban connection, and contemporary design.

Developed by Citimark and completed in 2022, the three-storey wood-frame community includes 88 townhomes and cityhomes organized around landscaped courtyards and pedestrian walkways. The project anchors the emerging Lions Gate Village, offering residents access to the area’s growing network of parks, trails, and amenities — all within minutes of Ambleside Beach, Park Royal, and downtown Vancouver.

Architecturally, Belle Isle embraces a clean, modern language with warm materials and crafted details. Distinctive steel radius staircases lead to private rooftop patios, creating a visual rhythm that defines the façade and celebrates outdoor living. The design extends beyond the property lines: as part of the development, land was dedicated to expand Belle Isle Park, linking the neighbourhood to the new Lions Gate Community Centre and enhancing the public realm.

Built to Built Green Gold standards, the project emphasizes energy performance and long-term livability — proving that sustainable design can also be timeless, elegant, and deeply connected to place.
